Schyler bought her first DSLR camera in 2010, and from that moment she became hooked on the process of capturing special moments that normally would never be seen again. Unlike some people who simply pick up a camera and declare themselves to be a wedding photographer, Schyler has paid her dues. She first did commercial photography and creative portraiture work and then brought those skills to wedding photography and discovered it was her true passion. But even then, she worked as a second shooter for other wedding photographers for a full year to gain the skills and experience she needed to go out on her own. Schyler also invests in the camera equipment and technology she needs to do an outstanding job and has spent hundreds of hours furthering her education to keep her skills sharp.

Schyler’s style is to keep things authentic and to tell each couple’s wedding story as it happens. She’ll make sure you both look great in your photos and will help with posing so you can get some awesome formal shots that are ideal for posting and framing and she’ll also capture plenty of the fun and candid moments throughout the day.

Schyler is upfront about her pricing and lists four different packages on her website, all of which include an engagement session. She’s also very flexible and is happy to mix and match components to create a customized package to meet a couple’s exact needs. Most of her packages include a second photographer and they all include a high-resolution viewing and download gallery.
